Namoura

Ingredients

1 cup and 1/2 semolina
1/2 cup ghee
1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1.5 tsp  baking powder

Sugar syrup 1 cup and 1/2 sugar 3/4 cup water 1 tbsp rosewater 1 tbsp orange blossom water 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp butter

Method

Start by mixing semolina with ghee, add sugar, then flour then milk then baking powder, mix and transfer to a tahini brushed pan, almonds and or pistachios on top.

Bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees celsius then 10 minutes from top to get that golden top.

Once done pour all the sugar syrup over it, let it cool completely before cutting.
